Though some amenities were unavailable, the rooms were tidy and the beds comfortable-essential after a long day of travel. The welcome drink was a nice touch, as was the kettle in the room, which made my morning tea routine easy. I enjoyed having access to the terrace and the garden area, creating a pleasant atmosphere, although it would have been ideal if the air conditioning was functional during the heat wave-it's one of those things that can really make or break a stay. Breakfast had a good variety, though they unexpectedly ran out of croissants. Although the hotel is a bit farther from Macon than advertised, I would consider staying again for a quick rest when passing through, especially given the free parking and 24-hour reception. It's a worth considering for budget-conscious travelers.
